Contribution of Officials Emphasized at Referee Briefing Ahead of Karate 1-Youth League Guadalajara

Judges and officials assembled for the Referee Briefing ahead of the Karate 1-Youth League in Guadalajara. The meeting, led by World Karate Federation (WKF) President Antonio Espinós and Royal Spanish Karate Federation President Antonio Moreno, ensured that all referees were aligned on competition rules and regulations.
The briefing served as a key step in preparing for the event, which brings together nearly 3,000 young athletes from 80 countries. The referees reviewed protocols, discussed rule interpretations, and reinforced their commitment to fairness. Guadalajara hosts the second Karate 1-Youth League event of the season, further proving the sport’s growing appeal among young athletes.
WKF President Antonio Espinós said:
“The contribution of judges and referees to the progress of karate is ever more crucial in massive events such as the Karate 1-Youth League in Guadalajara. The Karate 1-Youth League Guadalajara begins Thursday and continues until Sunday. Thus, it offers young athletes opportunities to shine at the highest level.
