Day 2 of the 2025 EKF Cadet, Junior & U21 Championships in Bielsko-Bia?a, Poland saw intense competition, with the junior finalists determined in the morning session. Here’s a breakdown of the results.

Spain and France Triumph in Female Kata Team

Spain edged out Italy with a score of 38.70 to 38.50 in Kata Team Cadet and Junior Female. Earlier, France secured a spot in the final by defeating Türkiye 39.60 to 38.80.

Turkiye and Italy Claim Male Kata Team Final Spots

Türkiye advanced to the final of Kata Team Cadet and Junior Male with a dominant 39.90 to 37.40 victory over Croatia. Italy joined them in the final after a close 38.50 to 38.40 win over France.

Junior Kumite Male -55 kg: Alves Torcato vs. Hornak

Mathis Alves Torcato of Belgium secured his final spot by defeating Ismail Didic (6-1). Filip Hornak of the Czech Republic earned his place with a commanding 5-0 win over Panagiotis Samaras of Greece.

Junior Kumite Male -61 kg: Vuckovic vs. Califano

Aleksandar Vuckovic of Serbia won a tight match against Filip Mabic (1-0) to secure his spot in the final. Emanuele Califano of Italy mirrored the result, beating Mate Toth of Hungary 1-0.

Junior Kumite Male -68 kg: Halici vs. Malikov

Yigit Halici Ahmet of Türkiye defeated Ali Arnautovic 4-0 in the quest to the final of Junior Kumite Male -68kg, while Aladdin Malikov of Azerbaijan overcame Akaki Ezugbaia 3-1 to set up the final clash.

Junior Kumite Male -76 kg: Leal Moreno vs. Packwood

Iker Leal Moreno of Spain edged out Richard Turcanik in a high-scoring 7-5 match to qualify for the final of the category. Benjamin Packwood of Scotland dominated Grigorios Vlachopoulos 8-0 to reach the final.

Junior Kumite Male +76 kg: Aleksieienko vs. Bohunicky

Artem Aleksieienko of Ukraine secured a 2-0 win over Adam Tadjer to reach the final stage of the competition. Lukas Bohunicky of Slovakia put on a strong performance, beating Armin Selimovic 8-2.

Junior Kumite Female -48 kg: Nyman vs. Legittimo

Agnes Nyman of Sweden narrowly defeated Lola Cochard (1-0) to confirm her qualification to the final. Ludovica Legittimo of Italy advanced with a solid 3-0 win over Aida Trstenjak.

Junior Kumite Female -53 kg: Scarfone vs. Liutkeviciute

Morgane Scarfone of France secured a dominant 6-0 victory against Valentina Marrucci and secured the ticket to the final. Migle Liutkeviciute of Lithuania won her semifinal 4-0 over Zuzanna Dopieralska.

Junior Kumite Female -59 kg: Kristensen vs. Arzumian

Anna Steenholt Kristensen of Denmark advanced to the final of Junior Kumite Female -59kg after a 3-3 tie. Monica Arzumian of France dominated Julia Just Clopes of Spain winning 6-1.

Junior Kumite Female -66 kg: Cattaneo vs. Krstovic

Elisa Cattaneo of Italy edged Uliana Baranova 3-2 to make it to the gold-medal bout of the division. Teodora Krstovic of Serbia overpowered Elize Bauld 7-1.

Junior Kumite Female +66 kg: Hakova vs. Bath

Amalie Hakova of the Czech Republic secured a 2-0 win over Jovana Damjanovic to shine in the category. Astamaja Bath of Denmark matched the result, defeating Dariia Bulay 2-0.
